Educomp plans to open budget schools

Leading education company, Educomp Solutions Ltd, today, announced its plans for setting up budget schools in small towns across India.
The budget schools, called Vidya Prabhat Schools, would have CBSE affiliation and follow NCERT curriculum.

The first five Vidya Prabhat schools will come up at various locations in north India including Bazpur, Kashipur, Bahl Parav and Gadarpur in Uttrakhand. These schools will be open for admission for academic year 2009. The average monthly fee would be in range of Rs. 700 per student.
