Regional Office of the CBSE opened in Bhubaneswar
The 8th Regional Office of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was opened in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The Bhubaneswar centre will benefit at least 120,000 students of about 650 schools in three states – Chhattisgarh, Orissa and West Bengal.
In his message, Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh envisaged that two teachers’ training centres would be opened by the CBSE. CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi read out the message as Singh could not attend the inaugural function due to unavoidable circumstances.
