Eligibility:
1. Qualification
(a)Candidate seeking admission to ETE/ECCE must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) CBSE or its equilant examination from any other Board Recognised University.The minimum percentage of marks of 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE,best 5 subjects including,atleast one language shall be taken into consideration.For other board/Universities, Aggeregates of mark in all the subjects in which she/he has to pass for declaring him as “Pass”
shall be considered in accordance with the rules laid down by the concened board. However,those who have passed the qualifying examination with vocational subjects/course are not eligible for admission into ETE/ECCE course.
(b) 5% relaxation of marks is allowed for those candidates who apply under the categories of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes or Physically Handicapped.
(c) Candidates are applying for ETE Course and opting for URDU/PUNJABI language teaching must have passed URDU/PUNJABI as one subject both at Secondary and Sr. Secondary Examination.
(d) Candidates whose mark sheets are not available on the last date of submission of application will not be considered for admission.
2. Age Limit: The maximum age should not be more then 24 years. 5 Year relaxation of age is allowed for candidates applying under the categories or Scheduled Tribes or Physically Handicapped.
