SOL forms are being sold simultaneously with OMR forms for colleges affiliated to Delhi University (DU). While only a couple of thousand SOL forms were sold on the first two days last year, this year it has been four times that number.

While the SOL authorities explained it as a natural 10% to 15% increase they witness annually, the school has already sold over 9,000 forms in two days as against approximately 2,500 last year.

SOL is offering five programmes including BA (pass), BCom (pass), BA (honours) in English, political science and BCom (honours). The already popular BCom pass and honours courses became a major attraction in SOL when contact classes for programmes such as chartered accountancy was made mandatory. In fact in 2008 alone, 40,000 students enrolled for BCom (pass) at SOL.
