Over 113,000 forms were submitted more than double the number of seats in Delhi University colleges for various graduate and post-graduate courses.

“In total some 115,000 forms were sold, of which 113,471 forms were submitted by the students this year. This is much higher than last year when we received 93,000 forms,” According to Dean of Students Welfare S.K. Vij.

The sale and receipt of forms for admissions to 47 courses and 63 colleges was open for 15 days till Monday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. However, to accommodate the last day’s rush, officials kept the centres open till 4 p.m.

The submitted forms will now be scrutinized for different colleges and the first cut-off list will be announced on June 25.
