How to prepare for Entrance Exam?
Every year, a large number of students take part in various national level and state level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, IIT, UPSEE, AIEEE. Many of us can easily handle the stress that come during the exam time but some of us can not. They normally think how to solve the question papers of the entrance exam. These entrance exams are conducted by many educational institutions that offer MBA course, MCA course etc. Today the number of applicants for these courses are very high. So it is advisable to prepare for these examinations very well. The pattern most of entrance examinations is all about to same. Normally these exams contain objective types questions that can be divided into four sections i.e. English language, General Awareness, logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude.
For preparing the English language text, you should read books for proper usage of grammar and sentence formation. For qualifying this exam with flying colours, an individual should have strong vocabulary. In the exam of English language, mostly questions are based on understanding and usage of English words, phrases, idioms etc. A person should read newspaper daily and be familiar with terminologies and words being used lately.
An individual should keep updated himself by reading newspapers and magazines regularly for preparing general awareness test. He should be aware of the latest developments of the country as well as the changes and trends in the international market. One should also pay attention to the recent developments in the sector for which you are giving the exam.
For the logical reasoning paper, one should require a disciplined, focused, quick and broad mind. This section comprises of various questions dealing with alphabets, numbers, order of words, images etc. You can prepare for this section by referring books that are specially meant for improving the ability.
The quantitative aptitude section of entrance exam deals with the problems related to time, speed, interest, permutation and combination, ratio and proportion and much more.
