From the next academic session, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would start a vocational course in animation and designing for students of Class XI and XII.

At present, the Board is working on the syllabus, which would be drafted keeping in mind the requirement in the animation industry and Bollywood.

The HRD ministry and the CBSE are consulting leading software companies like Autodesk, which are working in the education sector, while designing the course.
