The first all India common entrance test for MBBS courses for 42,000 seats will be conducted by the CBSE. Following a Supreme Court directive, the MCI has decided to hold the 1st National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for undergraduates (NEET-UG) in May 2012.
The syllabus for MMBS common test (NEET 2012) has now been released by the Medical Council of India. It has been prepared by the National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT) and provides details of study materials in physics, chemistry and biology. The NEET syllabus has been uploaded on the MCI website till August 11 for comments and opinions.
